West Bengal is a State in East India and has 42 seats in the Lok Sabha of which 10 constituencies are reserved for Scheduled Castes and 2 are reserved for Scheduled Tribes. West Bengal also sends 16 members to the Rajya Sabha. There are 295 Assembly constituencies in the State and the last Assembly elections were held in May 2016.
According to the latest available data, there are a total of 6,98,63,152 eligible voters in West Bengal, of which 3,58,83,042 are male, 3,39,78,684 female and 1,426 voters of the Third Gender. The state can be divided into 4: North Bengal ,South East Bengal ,Greater Kolkata ,South West Bengal .
In the 2019 Lok Sabha election West Bengal will be voting in 7 phases: April 11, 2019, April 18, 2019, April 23, 2019, April 29, 2019, May 6, 2019, May 12, 2019 , May 19, 2019.
The poll results for the Lok Sabha seats in West Bengal will be declared on May 23, 2019.
