Rajesh Kumar Diwaker of BJP (alliance: NDA) won in this seat defeating BSP. BJP polled 5,44,277 of the total of 10,49,273 votes polled. RLD won the seat in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections.
Hathras goes to the polls in the 2st phase of the 2019 General Elections to choose the 17th Lok Sabha on Thursday, April 18, 2019. The election results for the seat are scheduled for Thursday, May 23, 2019.
