Om Prakash Yadav of BJP (alliance: NDA) won in this seat defeating RJD. BJP polled 3,72,670 of the total of 8,84,021 votes polled. IND won the seat in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections.
Siwan goes to the polls in the 6st phase of the 2019 General Elections to choose the 17th Lok Sabha on Sunday, May 12, 2019. The election results for the seat are scheduled for Thursday, May 23, 2019.
