Rammohan Naidu Kinjarapu of TDP (alliance: UPA) won in this seat defeating YSRCP. TDP polled 5,56,163 of the total of 10,51,454 votes polled. INC won the seat in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections.
Srikakulam goes to the polls in the 1st phase of the 2019 General Elections to choose the 17th Lok Sabha on Thursday, April 11, 2019. The election results for the seat are scheduled for Thursday, May 23, 2019.
